Develop optimal material flow from incoming, through warehouse, kitting, assembly and onto packaging with the application of Lean tools and continually monitor to ensure the best possible manufacturing efficiency. Develop, implement, and evaluate business and engineering solutions to modify or improve existing production and processing methods (e.g., minimizing cycle time, elimination of redundant activities, assessing appropriate place to perform tasks, evaluating storage and throughput capacity). Develop, maintain, and validate manufacturing metric in terms of equipment cycle time and run rate per standard and drive productivity improvement for better cost and manufacturing efficiency. Perform manning ratio analysis and compute optimal headcount requirement to improve manufacturing cost and efficiency. Develop, evaluate, and maintain equipment capacity planning. Support short range capacity planning and lead mid to long range capacity planning activities via capacity modeling and simulation to maximize utilization. Implement data driven continuous improvement project for Capex avoidance and capital efficiency and coordinate capital expenditure request, approval process & track delivery status. Ability to identify areas for improvement to optimize cycle time, machine capacity, and man utilization Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment Ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty/and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
