We're seeking a Slickline Operator with hands-on experience and a drive for excellence to join our field operations team. As a Slickline Operator, you will be responsible for executing all offshore slickline operations with precision and technical competence, including: This position will be based in Miri and/or Labuan. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical manipulation and execution of downhole slickline tools to meet client program objectives. Mobilize slickline units and equipment safely and efficiently between platforms and bases. Conduct on-site pre-job planning and review well schematics with the client's site representatives. Accurately measure and configure slickline tool strings to meet specific well conditions and restrictions. Record slickline operation parameters and configurations in detailed daily operation reports. Submit timely reports on slickline activities, equipment performance, and operational progress to your supervisor. Ensure slickline tools and surface equipment are operational, calibrated, and in optimal condition prior to and during field assignments. Conduct surface function tests on tools and confirm proper tool connections. Maintain comprehensive tool inventories and ensure adequate availability of spare parts and consumables. Perform inspection of slickline units, masts, cranes, and lifting gear to ensure mechanical readiness. Check and verify wire integrity and sufficient wire length for all slickline jobs. Assist with pre-mobilization tasks including checking equipment readiness, packaging, and documentation. Attend briefing and debriefing sessions with the Field Service Manager before and after offshore assignments. Participate in post-operation reporting, including tool usage records and job evaluations. Provide feedback on operational improvements and contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives. Participate in internal training programs organized by the Slickline Services team. Share technical knowledge with junior team members and assist with conducting training presentations as needed. Requirements: Minimum SPM; Technical Certificate (e.g., IKM, Polytechnic) is an added advantage.
