To be the guardian on the financial position of the Company and policyholders reasonable expectations by providing reliable financial information that strategically contributes to the Company’s solvency and return to shareholders.

Compute appropriate reserve and capital requirements of the Company under local regulatory Framework.
Analyze reserve and capital requirements movement.
Analyze solvency position of the Company via sensitivity testing.
Prepare and submit relevant reports to internal and external stakeholders such as regulators and internal parties.
Prepare procedural manual and documentation.
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) on valuation data from relevant policy administration system.
Perform UAT for Prophet modelling.
Prepare product, compliance risk assessment.
Other responsibilities entailed.

Qualifications

Tertiary - Bach. in Statistics / Maths / Actuarial Studies Professional.
With good progress in preliminary actuarial exams in one of the actuarial associations recognised by BNM.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and programming language. Familiarity with the actuarial projection software Prophet is an advantage.
Pays attention to details and able to complete tasks efficiently.
Can work both independently and as part of the team.
High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
