- Minimum certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or industrial site safety.
- Possess a valid Yellow Book.
- Knowledge of local HSE regulations (OSHA, DOSH, FMA, etc).
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written).
- Able to work under pressure, independently, and in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure all workers comply with safety rules, wear proper PPE, and follow safe work practices.
- Carry out daily Toolbox Meetings and weekly Safety Talks.
- Investigate incidents or near-misses and prepare detailed reports.
- Liaise with subcontractors and ensure their safety compliance.
- Keep and maintain site safety documentation, including permits, inspection records, and reports.
- Assist in developing and implementing the Site Safety Plan, Risk Assessments, and Emergency Response Plan.
- Coordinate with authorities such as DOSH and CIDB when required.
- Promote safety awareness among workers through campaigns and visual reminders.
