Job Title:EHS InternJob Description:The Role: EHS InternAs an EHS Intern, you will support the EHS Engineer in executing both routine and ad-hoc environmental, health, and safety activities. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and help you fulfill your academic requirements while contributing meaningfully to the team.What You’ll Do:Assist in day-to-day EHS operations and administrative tasks.Support the implementation of site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.Help ensure internal performance metric reports are accurate and submitted on time.Participate in EHS assessments such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Ergonomic Assessments, and more.Assist in the execution of the Industrial Hygiene Program, including SDS management, labeling, signage, chemical inventory, and monitoring.Support the implementation of the Site Emergency Response Plan.Participate in internal and external EHS inspections, audits, and Gemba walks.Coordinate and organize EHS promotional activities such as campaigns, talks, and roadshows.Assist in conducting EHS-related training for employees, visitors, and contractors.Help manage and monitor EHS modules within the ETQ system.Perform other duties as assigned by the management.What We Seek:Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related field.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.Good communication skills in both Malay and English, written and verbal.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, accountability, and appreciation for workforce diversity.Self-motivated with a high level of initiative; able to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Able to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.Results-driven, persistent, and confident in taking on challenges.Outstanding Candidates Will Have:Prior exposure to EHS-related projects or coursework.Familiarity with EHS management systems or tools.Passion for promoting a safe and sustainable workplace.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
