Within this role you will contribute to identify required statutory adjustments and participate in the external audit process. This role will require accounting expertise based on IFRS or Local GAAP regulations (depending on the country under responsibility).Your Responsibilities

Ongoing maintenance of Statutory Financial Statements templates in the global tool
Prepare and post month-end closing statutory adjustments for in-scope countries
Manage reconciliation bridge from US GAAP to IFRS/Local GAAP for in-scope countries
Work closely with Local Finance team to understand the business’ day-to-day activities and ensure these are properly reflected in the local ledger
Prepare yearly Financial Statements for assigned countries in compliance with IFRS or Local GAAP standards (depending on the country under responsibility) and participate in the external audit process
Prepare Balance Sheet fluctuations commentaries as needed (monthly internal reporting process)
Prepare other in-scope country-specific local reporting as required
Prepare robust process documentation, including a regular & timely updates

Expertise and Business Partnership

Support complex accounting issues in accordance with IFRS or relevant Local GAAP (depending on the country under responsibility)
Develop good understanding of One Source tool capabilities
Build effective collaboration with all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Local Affiliate, EBS teams, auditors)

Project Phase

Participate in One Source statutory reporting module implementation. Work closely with Project Team to ensure smooth go-live for countries within your responsibility.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree in Finance or Accounting
At least 5 years working experience in accounting/finance/ auditing, with a minimum 2 years in Financial Statements preparation
Expertise in IFRS or/and Local GAAPs (EMEA/LATAM countries)
Fluency in English language, additional language is an advantage
Experience with SAP, proficiency in Excel
Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills, with attention to detail
Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks & effectively manage workload in fast-changing environment while demonstrating full ownership & accountability
Superb communication skills

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

Experience with One Source tool module for statutory reporting
CPA, CIMA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent (or in progress)
US GAAP knowledge is an advantage
