Job Responsibility Operate and drive lorries with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) that requires specific licensing, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations within Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the lorry, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and brakes, and complete inspection reports to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness. Load, unload, and secure cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of beverages to prevent damage during transit. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery of beverages to various customer locations within Kuala Lumpur, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations, mileage logs, and fuel consumption, and submit reports to the logistics department on a regular basis. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to provide updates on delivery status, resolve any delivery issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Adhere to the company&aposs safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. Perform routine maintenance on the lorry, such as cleaning and washing, and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the maintenance department for prompt repair. Handle cash payments from customers upon delivery, ensuring accurate collection and proper documentation of transactions, and submit payments to the accounting department according to company procedures. Job Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to interact with clients and colleagues.
