- Lead & develop your team – Coach, mentor, and manage performance of billing operations specialists
- Ensure billing accuracy – Oversee provisioning, production, contract validation.
- Drive timely delivery – Manage workflows to meet SLAs, billing cycle deadlines, and operational cut-offs
- Resolve customer issues – Handle escalations, reduce disputes, and improve customer satisfaction
- Improve processes – Identify and implement efficiency improvements and defect reduction initiatives
- Maintain compliance – Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and internal policy requirements
- Collaborate across teams – Work closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Credit & Collections, and IT teams
- Provide insights – Deliver operational reporting and analytics to support decision-making
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field, or a professional accounting qualification
- 5–8 years of experience in billing operations, revenue operations, or similar high‑volume transactional environments
- 2–3 years of experience in leading a team or operating as a senior subject matter expert within a Finance, Billing, or Customer Service function
- Comprehensive understanding of end‑to‑end billing processes across billing platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Amdocs, or equivalent systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) with solid working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly effective communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling clear and confident engagement across multiple levels
- Demonstrated ability in time management and prioritization, with experience handling multiple monthly deadlines and resolving issues efficiently
- An adaptable and collaborative team player who performs well in dynamic environments and maintains a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
- Telecommunications, utilities, or subscription-based billing experience
- Six Sigma, Lean, or process improvement certification
- Experience supporting system migrations or transformation initiatives
