As a Insider Threat Analyst , you will be responsible for the detection, analysis, and mitigation of insider risks across the organisation, including those posed by employees, contractors, vendors, and partners who may intentionally or unintentionally cause harm. As part of the Information Security Reporting and Trust team, you will apply a combination of technical, behavioural, and investigative skills to review alerts, identify patterns and anomalies, and generate meaningful insights into user behaviour. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions to gather information, coordinate investigations, and clearly communicate findings and outcomes to senior stakeholders.. Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects. What You'll Do We are looking for a Insider Threat Analyst to join our team in Kuala Lumpur . The Role Responsibilities Include Support the design and implementation of insider threat risk management frameworks, process and procedures. In this global role, you will be expected to connect with stakeholders across the various time zones and participate in meetings at a reasonable time for all parties involved. Recommend improvements to detection strategies, strengthen our controls environment and support security awareness programs. Monitor alerts on user and entity behaviour using advanced analytics tools for insider risk management. Conduct risk assessments and correlate data from multiple sources to detect and assess insider threats. Collaborate with incident response teams and other functions to manage high-risk security incidents including collecting and preserving digital evidence for insider threat cases. What You'll Have 5 years or more experience in an insider threat or cybersecurity role in a global organisation. Knowledge with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), User and Entity Behaviour Analytical (UEBA) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools. Strong analytical skills to identify anomalies, patterns and motivations of user behaviour. Familiarity with profiling and human risk factors. Experience in investigations management and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information presented. Willing to take on new challenges with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple work priorities effectively.
