Role PurposeThe Senior HR Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role focuses on executing the full spectrum of HR functions—primarily Payroll, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Compliance—while ensuring alignment with company policies and Malaysian labour laws.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll & C&B (Compensation and Benefits)
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process (monthly salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements: EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRDC levy submissions.
  • Maintain payroll records and administer employee benefits (medical, insurance, leave management).
  • Prepare annual tax documents (Form E & EA).
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Handle foreign worker and expatriate management (work permit renewals, visa processing, accommodation).
  • Conduct new hire orientation and manage the confirmation process.
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations (IR)
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary issues, domestic inquiries (DI), grievances, and misconduct cases.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.
Training & Development
  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external training programs.
  • Manage HRDC grant applications, claims submissions, and training records.
  • Support talent management and succession planning initiatives.
HR Projects & Strategy
  • Drive employee engagement activities (team building, annual dinner, wellness programs).
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies and the Employee Handboo .
  • Prepare HR analytics reports (turnover rates, cost-per-hire, attendance) for management review.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist or operations role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws, HR best practices, and statutory requirements.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Malay, and Mandarin is an advantage); strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities; ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and manage multiple priorities.
