This role manages costing, tendering, and commercial control for solar EPCC projects, covering BoQ preparation, bid evaluation, budgeting, and risk analysis across pre‑ and post‑contract phases. It works closely with project teams to control costs, protect profit margins, and ensure contractual and financial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage tendering and costing activities, including BOQs, pricing, clarifications, and risk assessments
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for both pre‑contract and post‑contract stages
  • Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations for cost efficiency and compliance
  • Monitor project budgets, quantities, costs, and profit margins throughout execution
  • Perform cost benchmarking and value engineering to optimize overall project costs
  • Support audits and project reviews to ensure contractual and commercial compliance

  • Relevant academic qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or commercial roles, preferably within the construction, energy, or solar sectors
  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes, contracts, and procurement in an EPCC environment
  • Proven skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial cost control
  • Experience evaluating supplier and subcontractor pricing for value and compliance
  • Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in costing, project management tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Prior exposure to solar or renewable energy projects is a strong advantage
