This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your laboratory, analytical, and problem-solving skills, while contributing to impactful work that connects science with everyday consumer products.By joining us, you will play a part in Novonesis’ purpose of enabling better living through biology, helping bring more effective and sustainable household care solutions to the market.The Role & Your ImpactAs a Senior TS Assistant, you will play a key role in laboratory operations and technical support for household care applications. You’ll be hands‑on with formulation development, performance testing, and lab maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations. Your contributions will support ongoing research activities, customer demonstrations, and evaluation of enzymes or active ingredients in various product types.Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and testing detergent and cleaning formulations.
  • Ensuring efficient operation of the Household Care Lab by maintaining equipment, organizing supplies, and managing inventory.
  • Supporting the creation of performance‑driven product demonstrations.
  • Conducting evaluation studies of enzymes or active ingredients in household care products.
  • Executing routine lab experiments following SOPs and GLP.
  • Accurately recording and analyzing experimental data.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
  • Supporting setup, execution, and documentation of stability studies.
  • Collaborating with team members on ongoing projects.
  • Performing all tasks in compliance with safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ laboratory experience, preferably in detergent, personal care, or formulation chemistry.
  • Strong knowledge of lab equipment, formulation techniques, and testing methods relevant to household care products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and maintain accurate records.

  • Working hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Work arrangement: Full‑time on‑site in the laboratory.
  • Environment: A dynamic, hands-on laboratory environment where you will actively conduct experiments, operate analytical equipment, and support day-to-day lab activities.
  • Safety: All work must comply with internal safety and quality guidelines.
