OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB 1. Responsible for managing and overseeing all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) aspects of project execution and operations. 2. Ensure all E&I work complies with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications. 3. Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure timely and quality execution of tasks. PRINCIPLE DUTIES 1. Prepare, plan, execute, and monitor E&I project activities. 2. Develop detailed activity planning and scheduling for assigned projects, ensuring progress monitoring and adherence to deadlines. 3. Control costs related to manpower, tools & equipment, materials, and other resources. 4. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards, including IEC, NEC, and other relevant codes. 5. Perform troubleshooting and rectification of electrical and instrumentation issues on-site. 6. Supervise installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. 7. Prepare reports and other documents required by the Client's Project Management Team. 8. Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies. 9. Interface with the client for inspections, work progress updates, and technical discussions. 10.Ensure all necessary documentation for billing and invoicing is properly maintained and submitted. KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB 1. Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including design, installation, and maintenance. 2. Experience in oil & gas upstream construction, maintenance, or fabrication projects (preferably 8-10 years). 3. Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, API, ASME, IEEE, and NORSOK. 4. Ability to read and interpret P&ID, electrical single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, and control system architecture. 5. Good understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (ATEX / IECEx). 6. Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and field instrumentation is an advantage. Show more Show less
