- Lead and support supplier selection by assessing technical capabilities and production capacity through detailed technical evaluations.
- Collaborate with commodity teams to support the development of commodity strategies.
- Ensure approved suppliers meet all requirements outlined in the Supplier Quality System Manual and demonstrate continuous improvement in quality performance.
- Review and respond promptly to SCB/PCN notifications.
- Conduct regular audits of key suppliers and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
- Participate as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB), reviewing Discrepant Material Reports (DMR) and driving corrective actions for defective materials from suppliers.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to new suppliers to ensure full understanding of the requirements and processes.
- Prepare and present QBR/PBR reports for the Quality function.
- Work with vendors to regularly review FMEA and Supplier Process Management Plans (SPM), ensuring process improvements and effective controls.
- Monitor, analyse, and track annual quality data, and develop Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) accordingly.
- Background in electronics manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Hands-on experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, etc.; Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and RoHS compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in supplier auditing, qualification, and selection.
- Understanding of IPC 620 standards and requirements; ability to interpret electronic schematic drawings is preferred.
