The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for driving supplier quality assurance to ensure that manufacturing and business processes consistently deliver high-quality products on time within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role requires deep expertise in quality management systems and strong leadership skills to effectively guide and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Lead and support supplier selection by assessing technical capabilities and production capacity through detailed technical evaluations.
Collaborate with commodity teams to support the development of commodity strategies.
Ensure approved suppliers meet all requirements outlined in the Supplier Quality System Manual and demonstrate continuous improvement in quality performance.
Review and respond promptly to SCB/PCN notifications.
Conduct regular audits of key suppliers and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
Participate as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB), reviewing Discrepant Material Reports (DMR) and driving corrective actions for defective materials from suppliers.
Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to new suppliers to ensure full understanding of the requirements and processes.
Prepare and present QBR/PBR reports for the Quality function.
Work with vendors to regularly review FMEA and Supplier Process Management Plans (SPM), ensuring process improvements and effective controls.
Monitor, analyse, and track annual quality data, and develop Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) accordingly.

Background in electronics manufacturing processes and quality control.
Hands-on experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, etc.; Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO standards and RoHS compliance requirements.
Proven experience in supplier auditing, qualification, and selection.
Understanding of IPC 620 standards and requirements; ability to interpret electronic schematic drawings is preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed.
