- Process all regular, restricted and legal transfers; which include processing of payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity
- Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent
- Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors
- Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed
- Develop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Must be proficient in communicate Cantonese and Mandarin
- This is a Trade operations customer service task.
- Act as the single point-of-contact for all key Customers & facilitate resolution of their Trade related queries by liaising with all the internal partners like: Operations, Compliance, Coverage, Product Team, etc.
- Play a key role in timely resolution of queries and optimal service delivery within desired timelines.
- Act as a focal point for all service-level initiatives.
- Pro-actively engage Coverage & Product teams and provide business leads on key parameters like: Volume, Product, Revenue trends, etc. from Key Customers.
- Establish healthy business relations with Customers for securing repeat business & long term Customer loyalty.
- Work closely with the Operations Teams in identifying opportunities for improvement in the process, geared towards enhancing the over-all ‘Customer experience’
- .Consider risk and control issues when providing solutions to Customers & ensure pro-active escalation of key issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business studies/technology or equivalent
- Previous relevant experience preferred
- Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective communication and analytical skills
