Research & Development Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager (Food Manufacturing)

• Manage end-to-end product development activities, including product application, sampling and tasting sessions, packaging development, new product cost estimation, and initiation of new product concepts.
• Lead process validation for new products and revalidation of existing manufacturing processes for all products produced.
• Coordinate market research activities and conduct tasting surveys for new products, including preparation and distribution of samples to potential customers when required.
• Support the QA/QC Manager in implementing and maintaining ISO 22000, HACCP (MS 1480), HALAL, and KOSHER certifications, including certification processes for new raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure proper management and maintenance of the application laboratory.
• Establish and define operating parameters and specifications for raw materials and finished goods for all newly developed products.
• Actively participate in factory trial and test runs for new product development.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to conduct periodic benchmarking evaluations against competitor products.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or equivalent qualification.
• Creative and commercially driven individual with strong initiative, independence, and passion for continuous learning. Fast learner with the ability to work aggressively towards goals and meet tight deadlines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with a proven track record in a similar capacity, preferably within the food industry such as beverages, snack flavours, sauces, soup mixes, seasoning, spice blends, batter mixes, and related product categories.
