Overview The incumbent is responsible to assist the Production Manager in maintaining & troubleshooting the daily production process and product quality deficiency. Ensuring all production processes are accordance to ISO 9001/13485/GMP requirements and enforcing all Company rules and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all production process are consistent with written work instructions & procedures in order to comply with ISO9001/13485/GMP requirements. Therefore, have to be very familiar with all work instructions and procedures in the department and have to ensure they are regularly updated. Ensure all checklist & reports in Production are properly completed by various personnel & reviewed on a timely basis. If there exceptions/findings in any of the checklist & reports, to ensure they are attended to by the right personnel until satisfactory resolution/rectification of problems. Ensure quality of glove produced by checking regularly QAI reports & also other related department reports. If there are quality problems, to investigate further by discussion with related personnel (e.g. Supervisors, Group Leaders, departments (e.g. QCP, Compounding, Engineering Executives, etc.) before deciding & ensuring proper etc.) & corrective & preventive actions are taken to rectify problems. When corrective & preventive actions are taken by Supervisors & below for certain problems, to follow up to ensure that those actions taken have satisfactorily rectified the problems. Ensure Supervisors are performing their duties effectively according to their written Jobs Descriptions. Ensure production staff of all levels (except Executive & above) is competent in performing their duties by organizing and / or providing regular training (both on-job and classroom). Ensure the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are achieved through proper control of entire production process. To investigated and discuss with Manager if not achieved. Ensure any process deviations or changes are properly documented. Ensure good housekeeping & proper handling, storage and preservation of the product at all related areas. Ensure all engineering works are properly planned with Engineering and C&I Dept. before carrying out in order to minimize downtime. For annual / preventive maintenance and modification works, plans must be agreed & approved by Production & Engineering Managers before works can commence. Upon completion of works, to ensure that they are carried out satisfactorily. Ensure there is proper preventive maintenance on all production lines (e.g. Coagulant, latex, powder, polymer, chlorination, cleaning tanks, GSR & all other areas in production lines) and supporting equipment (e.g. Chillers, compressors, scrubbers, etc.) On a regular basis. Any other tasks that assigned by your superior. Job Requirements Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or any Engineering background. Work location : Sepang, Selangor. Able to work shift.
