Location: Damansara UptownJob Descriptions:
  • You will be mainly responsible for preparing monthly journals based on a defined list or as directed to close the books at month's end.
  • Prepare monthly accounts analysis of Balance Sheet items and ensure proper reclassification and balances are valid.
  • Perform month-end closing tasks and reporting per defined timeline.
  • Perform month-end-closing activities (Revenue & Expense Accrual and Reversal / Manual Journal Entry).
  • Perform various tasks related to accounting, and reporting including investigation, resolution, and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of financial report and management report.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have to:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or any relevant discipline.
  • At least 2 - 5 years of working experience in Accounting & Reporting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in Oracle EAP would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, self-initiative and yet a good team player.
  • Proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia in both written and oral, an additional language (eg: Mandarin) will be a plus.
