Baker (Mandarin Speaker Needed)

• Minimum Education: Secondary School (SPM)
• Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
• Able to start work at 4am for 10-hour shift, for 5 days a week
• Has basic baking skills and knowledge including a certificate in baking/pastry course
• Has experience working for a bakery (not compulsory)

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, and other pastries, following Jaslyn Cakes' established recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized baking station, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to the supervisor to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and other tools, ensuring they are in good working order and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with the baking team to meet daily production targets, ensuring timely and efficient preparation of all baked goods.
• Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, contributing creative ideas and techniques to enhance Jaslyn Cakes' offerings, under the guidance of senior bakers.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality and prevent over or under-baking, adjusting as needed based on environmental factors.
• Package and present finished baked goods attractively, ensuring they meet Jaslyn Cakes' presentation standards and are ready for display or customer orders.
