Job Description: To support our business expansions, we are seeking for high-calibre talent to join our growing team. Work closely with and provide direct support to the Group Accountant in managing the financial operations of the assigned entities. Independently manage daytoday accounting tasks with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Handling full set of Accounts. Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Perform month-end closing activities, monthly reconciliation report and ensure financial closing complete within the due date. To perform accounts-related data entry and other general accounting duties. Prepare payment instructions for entities with external accounting service provider. Prepare yearly budget for review and ensure liquidity for the entities in charged. Liaise with company secretary, tax agent and auditors. Prepare GST report for submission. Perform other ad-hoc assignments as and when required. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the investment or asset management industry. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a multi-entity group structure and support senior finance leadership. Meticulous, initiative and strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Proficient in MS Office / Excel applications. Possessing professional certifications is advantageous. Experience with Globe3 or similar accounting systems is an advantage. Additional Information: Successful candidate must be able to work in our office at Taman Austin Perdana, JB. Candidates will undergo 2 rounds of interviews with some assessment tests as part of the recruitment process. Kindly note that all new hires will be offered yearly renewable contract for 2 years before conversion to permanent role.
