HVAC Estimator

• We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HVAC design engineer with a strong background in Marine and offshore HVAC system. ​
• The candidate will have at least 4 years HVAC design experience, and solid shipyard working experience. This role involves developing HVAC system design used for Sales support for project tendering. ​

• Design, Develop & Estimate HVAC system for Marine and Offshore applications in compliance with international HVAC standards and client’s project specifications.​
• Prepare basic & Detailed HVAC design documents including system drawing, schematic, equipment selection and duct/pipe design. ​
• Perform Heat load calculations, airflow balancing, duct size calculations, pressure loss calculations, and electrical engineering to ensure integrated HVAC system design.​
• Review and interpret technical specifications, CLASS Rules(DNV, BV) and HVAC regulations(ASHRAE, SMANCA, ISO15138, IEC60079-13 & SOLARS).​

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline. ​
• Minimum 5 years of in HVAC system design for marine or offshore applications.​
• Proficient in using HVAC design software such as Carrier HAP, Autocad, Microsoft excel​
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMANCA, ISO HVAC standards, and relevant offshore/marine regulations( ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s & SOLARS)​
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing and technical documents.
