Production Officer

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar production or manufacturing role, preferably in the rubber or plastics industry
• Excellent understanding of production planning and scheduling principles, as well as inventory management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve production-related issues
• Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and production staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Operations Management or Production Planning

• Oversee and manage the daily production operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
• Implement and maintain efficient production processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and skill development.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying trends to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure smooth and coordinated production activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
