- Assist the Branch Manager on all aspect of daily branch operation and support
- Support marketing team in agency application, reporting, office administration, correspondences, credit control, payment, quotation, policy administration, renewal retention, and monitoring of CBC, MCM and CPD hours
- Handling agent, customer and OSS request (applicable for those with OSS services), inquiries and transactions including complaint handling and claims administration (excluding claims handling)
- Underwrite and accept risks within the Underwriting Authority Limit as assigned by the Company
- In respect of Office Agent Management, to provide full assistance and support in servicing the assigned/non-assigned agent
- Assisting on BCM matters as and when required in a timely manner (if appointed)
- Any other duty/tasks as required by the Branch Manager to ensure smooth management of the branch operations including organization and event management, training, and administrative matters but not limited to scanning, filing, storing of files and others
- Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
- To adhere to AMLA provisions and all other applicable policies and compliance matters concerning GEGM and the Great Eastern Group and be vigilant to uphold these in the discharge of duties
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
- Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
- Diploma/Degree qualification in insurance related course. Insurance qualification is essential e.g. LOMA and AMII
- Experienced in the insurance for at least 1 year
- Good command of English language[both spoken and written]. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage
- Possess high leadership skills and effective communication skills
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
