Job Location: Northern/Southern Role Purpose You will lead the store and have full accountabilities for all aspects of my team's performance and well-being, the quality of the customer experience and service we offer, and the delivery of the business' objectives. What You&aposll Be Doing Sales Floor Management Be responsible for the day to day running of the store operations to maximize profits while minimizing costs. Manage and motivate team to increase sales and ensure efficiency. Ensure promotions are accurately running according to the company's standards. Ensure colleagues are all working towards the target for the day and making sure excellent customer care standards are met at all times. Walk the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify issues and concerns. Identify customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements, awareness of market trends, and monitor competitor activities to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market. Review on regular basis the availability, waste, shrinkage, gaps and discuss the next steps with Stock Control Manager and Department Manager to ensure you maximise trade and to meet customer's expectation. Ensure Emergency Product Withdrawals have been actioned correctly. Merchandising Product Replenishment & Stock Management Ensure that the right product appears in the store, at appropriate time and in correct quantities. Build a good relationship with the central buying team to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance. Support Stock Control team in planning product ranges, preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers and also in controlling stock level based on seasonal forecasts. Maintain awareness of competitors performance. Backroom Management Ensure store team have effectively planned colleagues' priorities. Ensure transfer process is handled according to the correct routines. Support investigation process in case of billing discrepancies. Price Label Management Ensure the Price Integrity team deliver Price Integrity routines. Review the Pricing Error Report. Review the outstanding price change in 'Work Load Management' (WLM) report. Ensure all department complete trade checks on Price Integrity to ensure the store trading within legal requirements at all times within Grocery Department. Customer Ensure all members of your team deliver exceptional customer service. Work with your team and the systems team to maintain availability throughout the trading day. People Ensure your team meet customer and business needs. Lead in recruiting the best people to join my team. Be responsible for all aspects of your teams legal, service, technical & behavioral training. KPIs I deliver my personal objectives I ensure that waste routines are followed - FIFO, product handling, code checking, waste recording, waste investigation I achieve stock loss within my budget through supporting the systems team in maintaining stock accuracy and investigating any stock loss in my area I oversee the completion of RTV for my department Trade I lead trading events in my department Safety Role model health & safety both in and outside the work environment. Be accountable for making sure that the right equipment is fully functional and available for my team at all times. What You&aposll Bring to the Role At least a high school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 to 10 years' experience in hypermarket and supermarket operations. A strong customer management and organizational skills.
