Key Responsibilities Employee Relations (ER)Serve as the primary contact point for employee grievances, complaints and workplace issues.Provide guidance on HR policies, disciplinary actions and compliance with employment regulations.Draft and review employment contracts, show-cause letters, warning letters, termination notices and HR policies.Conduct investigations and prepare reports on misconduct, grievances and disciplinary cases.Support employee engagement initiatives to improve workplace culture and retention.Industrial Relations (IR)Advise management on industrial relations matters, including compliance with the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and other labor regulations.Prepare documentation and represent the company in labor disputes, domestic inquiries and Industrial Court cases when required.Liaise with external stakeholders such as the Department of Labour (JTK), Industrial Court, unions and legal advisors.Assist in collective bargaining, union negotiations and maintaining constructive relationships with employee representatives.Monitor labor law updates and provide recommendations to ensure compliance.Legal & Compliance SupportConduct legal research on employment law and provide updates on emerging labor and IR issues.Advise management on risk mitigation strategies in handling employee disputes.Support in the development and delivery of employee relations and compliance training programs.Ensure all employee relations processes are documented and aligned with statutory requirements.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's Degree in Law / Human Resources / Industrial Relations or related field.2-4 years of experience in employment law, employee relations, or industrial relations.Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor and industrial relations laws.Excellent legal drafting, advisory and dispute resolution skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, management and external authorities.
