Together, we advance your career.THE ROLE:As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handling manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.THE PERSON:A successful candidate is one who can perform in a role that requires accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up
  • Post Silicon Bring up of Test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement
  • Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement
  • Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, shell script
  • Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS
  • Working knowledge of lab equipment such as osciloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
  • x86 system debugging and setup
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines.
