We are currently looking to fill the following position for our client, a leading professional consulting firm specializing in tax, audit and accounting solutions for SMEs and non-profit organisations.TAX MANAGER/ ASSISTANT MANAGER (Mandarin Speaking)(based in Taman Bukit Emas, Petaling Jaya, Selangor)Job SummaryYou will play a pivotal role to ensure clients comply with tax regulations and tax optimization that cover :- Tax Strategy , Tax Functions, Tax Risk Analysis , Tax Control & compliance, Tax Monitoring and Tax AssuranceResponsibilities

Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the client's tax liabilities and compliance;
Manage tax audits, inquiries, and investigation cases;
Monitor & mitigate tax risks by identifying potential tax planning opportunities;
Review tax computation, tax submissions, tax estimation and tax correspondences;
Lead and supervise tax professionals within the organization for tax reporting deadlines;
Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations;
Provide guidance & training support to finance and accounting teams on tax related matters;
Work closely with clients and liaise with various government agencies e.g. Inland Revenue Board, Customs, Ministry of Finance and other relevant government agencies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field;
Minimum of 4 years' experience in the tax industry;
Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CFA, or CTP are a plus.
Strong understanding of international tax regulations and guidelines;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Communication, interpersonal and client relationship management skills.

Salary RM7,000 - RM10,500, position and salary to commensurate with experience.
