Join our leading EMS Client as the Indirect Commodity Manager - Professional Services in the Northern Region.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives and high‑value negotiations for professional services categories.
  • Develop global category strategies supported by spend analysis and supplier segmentation.
  • Build pricing structures (fixed‑fee, hourly, milestone‑based) and guide stakeholders on commercial decisions.
  • Identify cost‑reduction opportunities leveraging market intelligence and supplier capabilities.
  • Align category strategies with global stakeholders across operations, engineering, HR, legal, finance, and IT.
  • Own supplier selection, onboarding, and contract management processes.
  • Oversee US$50M+ in global spend and ensure compliance, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Drive supplier governance through annual business reviews, KPIs, audits, and scorecards.
  • Lead supplier escalations and crisis‑management efforts when required.
  • Support Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes including requisition review and PO issuance when needed.
  • Standardize sourcing processes and documentation across business groups.
  • Provide category support to global manufacturing sites, design centers, and service centers.
  • Ensure spend compliance, forecasting accuracy, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with global business leaders to deploy sourcing roadmaps and category strategies.
  • Influence decision‑making through data analytics, commercial insights, and supplier market intelligence.
  • Promote sourcing best practices, governance structures, and policy adherence across the organization.

  • Strong track record in developing and managing strategic supplier relationships.
  • Highly analytical with strong planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Solid knowledge of procurement, professional services sourcing, and electronics/EMS industry practices.
  • Ability to respond quickly and decisively to evolving business requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Proficient in SAP, Ariba, or equivalent procurement systems.
  • Strong people‑leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide operational purchasing teams.
  • 5+ years in strategic procurement or commodity management, preferably focused on professional services.
  • Proven ability to manage large spend portfolios (US$30M+).
  • Experience working in an electronics manufacturing or EMS environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing category strategies and driving sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong experience in supplier contract management and spend analysis.
  • Background supporting operations in high‑growth, fast‑paced manufacturing environments is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
