Job Summary As a global leader in server technologies, Supermicro has been growing extremely fast in may key markets such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, HPC, Storage, etc. To meet the market demand, Supermicro is developing end to end enterprise IT solutions with compute, storage, networking all integrated into full rack or multi-rack level systems. Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Solution Project Manager who can work with enterprise customers and win business with enterprise and data center solutions. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Lead the development of project scope, objectives, and key deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations. Develop detailed project plans that include timelines, milestones, resource allocation, risk assessments, and budget considerations to support successful project delivery. Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Provide consistent and timely updates on project progress, risks, and performance metrics through structured reports and review sessions. Manage stakeholder expectations by addressing concerns proactively, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring alignment across all involved parties. Ensure all project deliverables are completed according to schedule, meet defined quality standards, and comply with technical and business requirements. Conduct regular project reviews, status meetings, and post-implementation evaluations to assess performance, identify gaps, and ensure continuous improvement. Implement necessary adjustments to project plans, processes, or strategies to improve delivery efficiency and project outcomes. Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, risk logs, meeting minutes, and compliance records. Ensure all project activities adhere to organizational policies, governance frameworks, and industry best practices. Oversee the final delivery and acceptance of all project outputs, ensuring they meet agreed-upon criteria and stakeholder requirements. Properly close out projects by archiving documents, capturing lessons learned, and supporting continuous improvement for future initiatives. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferable. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (such as PMP or PRINCE2) would be an added advantage, but candidates with equivalent experience may also be considered. Around 8 years of project management experience is preferred, and additional related experience would be beneficial to the candidate's profile. Familiarity with project management tools and software is advantageous and adds value to the role. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are preferable, especially when working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are highly valued and would be an added advantage. A good understanding of project management methodologies is preferred, with additional exposure to structured frameworks considered beneficial. Possessing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus and would provide added value to the candidate.
