  • RE-FX Implementation: Lead the configuration of Flexible Real Estate Management, including contract management, object architecture (Architectural vs. Usage views), and condition types.
  • Lease Accounting Compliance: Configure and manage the Valuation Engine in RE-FX to meet IFRS 16/ASC 842 requirements, ensuring correct calculation of Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities.
  • Group Reporting Integration: Manage the data flow from the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) to the Group Reporting table (ACDOCU).
  • Consolidation Logic: Define and configure consolidation units, financial statement items (FS items), and elimination rules for intercompany lease transactions within Group Reporting.
  • Financial Posting: Oversee the integration with SAP FI/CO for automated postings of depreciation, interest, and repayment schedules derived from lease valuations.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain consolidated financial statements, disclosure notes for leases, and management reports using SAP Fiori and Analysis for Office.
Technical Skills & Configuration Expertise
  • SAP RE-FX - Contract Management, Valuation Rules, Measurement Types, and Periodic Postings.
  • Lease Accounting - Expertise in IFRS 16 / ASC 842 standards, ROU Asset depreciation, and Interest calculation.
  • Group Reporting - Data Collection (Release from Universal Journal), Consolidating Journal Entries, and Validation Rules.
  • Cross-Module - Fixed Asset Accounting (FI-AA) integration and Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM).
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 6+ years of SAP Finance experience, with at least one full-cycle implementation of both RE-FX (Lease Accounting focus) and S/4HANA Group Reporting.
  • Accounting Background: Strong understanding of global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and consolidation principles (e.g., Equity Pickup, Intercompany Eliminations).
  • S/4HANA Proficiency: Hands-on experience with the Universal Journal architecture and Fiori-based financial closing cockpits.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to manage Data Mapping (mapping local COA to Group COA) and troubleshoot data release issues in Group Reporting.
