Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Executive – Server & Network Administrator to lead and manage the Group’s server and network infrastructure operations. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and resilience of enterprise infrastructure platforms.The successful candidate will act as a senior technical escalation point, provide hands-on expertise, support digital transformation initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.Key Responsibilities1. Infrastructure Administration & Operations

Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise server and network infrastructure.
Ensure optimal uptime, performance, scalability, and system resilience.
Perform configuration management, patching, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
Implement and test backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity (BCP) solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams and operational procedures.

2. Senior Technical Leadership

Provide senior-level technical expertise and hands-on leadership.
Act as escalation point for complex infrastructure issues (Tier 3 support).
Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior technical staff.

3. Security, Governance & Compliance

Implement infrastructure security controls (segmentation, hardening, secure configuration).
Ensure compliance with internal policies, ISO 27001, ITIL practices, Malaysia PDPA, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Support audits, IT risk assessments, and cybersecurity initiatives.

4. Digital Transformation & Infrastructure Projects

Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, virtualization, and refresh cycles.
Evaluate and recommend technologies aligned with IT strategy.
Participate in change management processes and technical risk assessments.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and project activities.
Support technical evaluations and solution validation.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Expertise

Enterprise firewall configuration (NAT, VPN, IPS/IDS, policy optimization)
Network switching (VLAN, routing, STP, QoS, trunking, link aggregation)
VMware administration (ESXi, vCenter, VM provisioning & optimization)
Windows Server and/or Linux administration
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols)
Infrastructure monitoring & alerting tools
Backup, DR & BCP solutions
Infrastructure security best practices & vulnerability remediation
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in server and network administration.
Strong hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
Experience in regulated or ISO-certified environments will be an added advantage.
