  • Supporting subsidiary & sub region leadership as they execute compliance as a foundational & cultural pillar of their rhythm of business.
  • Ensure strict adherence to policies, supported by leadership's strong tone at the top and efficient compliance governance process with regular monitoring.
  • Provide compliance support, consultation advice, and monitoring in support of management's business objectives and their responsibility to mitigate risk.
  • Work and support the Business & Finance Compliance champs in respective subsidiaries; train them on driving good tone and investigate red flags and dashboard indicators.
  • Support Compliance team conduct /facilitate the Subsidiary & sub region Compliance Committee meetings to elevate compliance as top of mind with the Country Manager, Senior Leadership Team, Legal and HR, and orchestrate the remediation of compliance issues.
  • Point of contact for all compliance questions in the subsidiary & sub-region
Control Monitoring insights support
  • Identify and address geo-specific risks not covered in the global Compliance framework
  • Work with EY testing team(quarterly controls testing) to ensure prompt resolution of issues and feedback
  • Review root causes and remediations for Asean Subsidiary control monitoring observations to ensure effective remediation taken by the business.
  • Continuous feedback loop with third-party audit and risk consultants (controls testing), Corporate Central Compliance and also Accenture (e.g. Buy Center, Accounts Payable) to improve the risk elimination achieved by the 3rd party work.
  • Closed group collaboration with external parties providing helpdesk and monitoring services
Typical Day in the Role
  • Conduct data analytics and produce actionable insights to focus the compliance efforts on the highest risk areas, leveraging Compliance Analytics Program.
  • Assist in content creation, organize trainings and Trust week events
  • Coordinate and manage internal audits on behalf of the business from start to end and monitor implementation of remediation
  • Assist in identifying topics, preparation of deck, follow up on action items for ASEAN Executive Compliance Committee and different country subsidiary compliance committees
  • Contribute as a team member in developing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for identified key risk areas
Candidate Requirements * At least 5-6 years of Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Assessment experience in a Technology environment (priority) but will also consider commercial industries. Candidates with a background in KYC, AML or Compliance in Financial Services or Non-banking Financial Services will not be considered
  • Excellent analytical skills - Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP / Pivot Tables / Power BI) with a strong eye for data analysis
  • Excellent presentation building experience - content creation for meetings and business trainings using PowerPoint. Having done presentations would be an added advantage
