Job description: Job Summary To conduct a thorough and comprehensive examination of all environmental aspects within their assigned package to ensure complete understanding and compliance. Key Responsibilities To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QEMS. Ensure applicable environmental best management practices are implemented and retain documented information. Review and propose updates/ improvements of departmental processes/ Environmental procedure and record keeping. Attend, investigate and report occupational safety & health and environmental related emergency, accidents, near miss accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrence. Collect, analyse and maintain statistics on environmental related inspection, incidents, accidents and emergencies. To comply with applicable legal and other requirements. To take responsibility to protect the environment and prevent pollution. To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment. To promote environmental awareness and conduct induction. To monitor and control contractor's environmental practices. To continuously improve environmental practices at workplace. To attend to, investigate and report any environmental emergency at the projects. To conduct environmental inspection. To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on environmental emergencies. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management. Qualifications Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent. Must have Certified Erosion, Sediment and StormWater Inspector / Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CESSWI/CISEC) Must have Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CEPSWAM) Having Certified Professional Environmental Officer in EIA Project Development and Operation (CePEOEIA) 2020 is advantageous. Skills & Abilities Well versed in Environment Management System. Expected Minimum Years of Experience N/A
