At Wilhelmsen, we keep global trade running.Anchor your career in the maritime industry and dive into a sea of opportunities with us now.The positionWe are looking for Supply Coordinator who will be functionally reporting to Operations Manager in Kuala Lumpur.About the location/departmentThe position will be located at Kuala Lumpur which is the heart of the city and easy to get to by public transportation.Who you areDiploma graduate in Supply Chain related studies or relevant work experience.Good planning and organising skills.Well verse in MS Excel.Ability to systematically work independently and in a team, encouraging and respecting the contribution of others and volunteering information and ideas.Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.Computer literateAdditional expectations of the roleWill be supporting Singapore operations and will follow Singapore public holidays.Able to commit and work on first half Saturday (morning session) on a rotation basis.What you will be doingEnsure there is continuous communication on the availability and lead times of products with Customer Service, transport, warehouse, expediting and procurement department.Continuous follow up on quotes and orders with sub-status ‘Awaiting approval’.Process orders including non-available items:Order non-available items.Scan Delivery Notes when applicable.Create invoice for closed orders.Maintain required control reports and documentation.Assist other departments as needed on stock orders and purchase orders.Any other responsibility put forward by Manager not covered by this Functional Description (within reasonable limits).What we offerStrategic work location at KL Sentral with convenience travelling by Monorail, Rapid Kelana Jaya Line, MRT and KTM services as well as public buses.International work environment and culture.Great learning and development opportunities.Join our global team for a career filled with opportunities to solve challenges both small and large, local and global, simple and complex!How to applySounds interesting?
