- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in compliance with MPERS, MFRS, or IFRS.
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, perform variance analysis, and provide financial insights.
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, intercompany, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including the review of tax computations and submissions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Enhance internal control systems and drive continuous improvement for financial processes and policies.
- Assist in the creation of new processes and system implementations, including automation projects.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Perform related assignments or ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certificates such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus.
- Experience: At least 6 years of working experience in finance and accounting.
- Industry Background: Experience in brokerage, financial services, or fintech is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing or leading a small finance team.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with accounting software.
- Competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous and highly organized approach.
