You will primarily provide financial guidance and strategic analysis to drive change and execution in given SBU and location. You will manage financial channel activities including the monthly closing cycle, reporting, building weekly/monthly estimates and the development of the annual plan.Key Responsibilities:Support SBU finance and business teams by providing insightful analysis of the numbers and scenario modelling for business decisionsResponsible for all reporting for SBU and location as well as the calculations of key metrics, this includes monthly closing process - coordinate activities to ensure results are accurate and explainableAnalyze, interpret and communicate monthly financial results to SBU finance including deviation analysis, explanation of performance drivers/opportunities and key metric reportingSupport SBU finance in preparation and presentation of monthly P&Ls including overview of account profitabilityProvide any ad hoc analysis as required by business stakeholders of various levels including customer profitability, margin analysis, contract analysis, etcPlanning, preparation, and implementation of the annual budget process, works with business to develop ACTs, support ad-hoc projects and work as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree and a recognized professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA / ACCA / ACABusiness and commercially aware with experience working in a commercial environmentMultiple language skills English / Mandarin as a minimum.Good knowledge of MS Office, specialist in ExcelExposure to IT systems such as SAP and Oracle, exposure to SAP S4 Hana would be preferredAbout us:Here at PPG we make it happen, and we seek candidates of the highest integrity and professionalism who share our values, with the commitment and drive to strive today to do better than yesterday – everyday.PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
