Job Details Job Description: Researches, designs, develops, and optimizes software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). Develops and optimizes compilers, flows, assemblers, models, tools, runtimes, and/or firmwares that are closely coupled to FPGA silicon, IP, and boards, while leveraging strong knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, board design, semiconductor devices, and chip layout. Designs, develops, and optimizes software abstractions and frameworks for acceleration with the FPGA for domains such as deep learning, DSP algorithms, or data analytics. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Qualifications Education: Bachelor&aposs or Master&aposs degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering. Experience: Proven experience in IP design and verification/simulation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Verilog, C++ and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and TCL. Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with electronics, including microprocessors and state machines, is a plus. Responsibilities Design and verify IP components to ensure functionality and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IP designs into larger systems. Utilize simulation tools to test and validate IP designs. Develop and maintain documentation for IP design processes and results.
