In the upstream, we have interests in two Production Sharing Contracts with PETRONAS, while in the Product Solutions business, we supply a portfolio of specialty chemical products to the marketplace.What role you will play in the team
  • You will be an integral part of our engineering team providing technical insights and support to ExxonMobil’s manufacturing facilities globally, encompassing refineries and chemical plants
  • Placements are available in various disciplines listed subject to business needs.
  • Position is based in Kuala Lumpur
What you will do
  • Manufacturing Process Engineer
  • As an extended member of the site technical team, you will provide high frequency and long term process unit monitoring and analysis for ExxonMobil’s global manufacturing facilities
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools to provide technical insights, recommendations, and drive optimization opportunities
  • Perform high level business stewardship activities including energy utilization, material balance, and unit improvement opportunity analysis
  • Manufacturing Application / Process Control Engineer
  • Develop and implement basic regulatory and advanced control applications
  • Improve abnormal event detection capability and alarm management
  • Provide technical support to refineries, chemical plants, and upstream facilities on base advanced control applications
  • Model Performance Analytics Engineer
  • Develops, deploys, and sustain tools used for PIMS model validation globally
  • Performs validation analysis of PIMS sub-model health together with manufacturing site technical team
  • Utilize techniques and tools to produce fit for purpose high quality models
About youSkills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Excellent academic track record
  • <3 years of relevant work experience encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural global team
  • Be able to demonstrate the following:
