- Lead and manage a team of production support analysts, with plans to expand the team to 20.
- Oversee incident management, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis of production issues.
- Drive change management processes, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
- Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless support.
- Maintain documentation and reporting for incidents, changes, and team performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Participate in shift rotations and provide leadership coverage during off-hours as needed.
- Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related field of studies.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in application / production support within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven experience in incident and change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling teams.
- Familiarity with banking applications, core systems, and infrastructure.
- Proficient in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, operating systems e.g. Linux/Unix, AS400, Splunk.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based environment, including weekends and public holidays.
