We are looking for an experienced Environment, Safety & Health (ESH) Officer to lead on-site safety for complex, fast-paced data center or mission-critical projects. This role requires hands-on site leadership, regulatory expertise, and the ability to manage contractor behaviour while fostering a culture of accountability and safety excellence. You'll work closely with project, contractor, and authority stakeholders to ensure full compliance, incident prevention, and continual safety improvement. This role is a contract role with a duration of 14 months.The Opportunity
- Manage all site safety operations, drive contractor compliance, and intervene proactively to prevent incidents.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, safety briefings, and investigations in alignment with OSHA, OSHAA 2022, and DOSH standards.
- Liaise directly with authorities such as DOSH and BOMBA, providing accurate incident reports and regulatory responses.
- Track safety KPIs using leading and lagging indicators to identify issues and implement effective action plans.
- Lead behavioural change on site by proposing innovative safety strategies, ensuring accountability, and delivering consistent reporting.

- A valid Green Book with SHO registration and 10+ years of site-based experience managing contractors.
- Proven experience in data center or mission-critical environments, ideally with Mandarin-speaking capability.
- Deep knowledge of DOSH, OSHA 1994, and OSHAA 2022 compliance requirements.
- Strong skills in reporting, incident investigation, and contractual interpretation related to safety obligations.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the confidence to lead, influence, and implement real change-not just paperwork.
