Job Category: TechnicianDegree Level: OtherJob Description:Job Summary:Onsemi is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to join our team as a Characterization Lab Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive characterization tests on discrete and module devices, conducting electrical verification for various tests, and delivering accurate data and reports to customers. You will work closely with team members to ensure efficient test execution and contribute to maintaining a proper documentation, checklist, report, on top of clean and organized laboratory environment through 5S practices.Responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesPerform characterization test for discrete and module devices.
Conduct analysis and electrical verification for various tests in the lab.
Provide comprehensive data and report to customers.
Work as a team to conduct the tests.
Involve in laboratory maintenance and upkeeping activities like 5S.
Facilitate learning for other team members thru training or sharing of new knowledge or techniques acquired.
Ensure compliance to EHS and ESD requirements in the Lab.Qualifications: Qualifications for Internal CandidatesDiploma in Electrical & Electronics or equivalents
Solid understanding of digital and analog electronics. Must have thorough understanding of issues associated with testing discrete components.
Competent with the use of standard electronic test equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, curve tracers, pulse generators, Power supplies, etc.
Competent with computer usage: MS Office products (particularly Excel), Internet browsers, Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for tester control.
Customer focused and friendly attitude.
Good communication skills.
