The Global Cloud and Hosting Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing Nexperia’s global cloud and hosting infrastructure. This role ensures the availability, performance, and security of cloud platforms and hosted services, supporting business continuity and scalability.The engineer works closely with IT operations, cybersecurity, application teams, and external service providers to deliver reliable and efficient cloud and hosting solutions.What you will doDesign, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hosted environments.Manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and backup solutions in cloud and on-prem hosting platforms.Monitor system performance and availability; implement proactive measures to ensure uptime and reliability.Support migration of workloads to cloud platforms and optimize resource usage.Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements in cloud and hosting environments.Collaborate with IT operations, cybersecurity, and application teams to support business needs.Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and change management.Coordinate with external hosting and cloud service providers for issue resolution and service delivery.Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.Continuously evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to cloud and hosting strategies.What you will needBachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.With 7+ years of experience in cloud and hosting infrastructure roles.Certifications such as Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent are a plus.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.Experience with virtualization technologies and hosted infrastructure.Understanding of networking, storage, and backup solutions in cloud and hosted environments.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks for cloud environments.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Effective communication and collaboration across teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global enterprise environment.Accountable for the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of Nexperia’s global cloud and hosting infrastructure.Supports business continuity, scalability, and compliance through proactive management and collaboration.Talent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
