In addition to hiring and training staff and delegating work assignments, focus on people development, mentor and keeping staff engaged.Strategic Planning and Management

Address overall business needs, ensure digital product roadmap in line with overall business strategy.
Formulate and resolve long and mid-term strategic plan of the unit aligning to department, division, and company.
Responsible on Product Level TECH related investment and operational expenditure.
Monitor and supervise financial spent inclusive of Budget utilization, commitment spent, actual drawdown and forecasting.

Budget and Resource Management

Plan, lead, and optimise resources for complete execution delivery.
Build in-house capability and successor planning.
Coach and mentor team to acquire the technical and soft skills.
Engage team performance and development plan in aligning to the IT strategic plan.

Application Development and Management

Ensure quality service delivery and efficient implementation across all.
Ensure delivery complies to SOP defined (Agile, SDLC, change management, security tollgates, etc.)
Provide support throughout UT, SIT, UAT, Pentest, Performance Test, ORT to ensure testing is done in accordance to requirements.
Responsible for governance and execution around software development, including version control, code review and structure, architecture, security, quality, and performance.
Handling vendor SLA.
Lead, negotiate, and influence vendor, business partner and Group IT relationships to provide delivery flexibility.
To understand, challenge, analyse user stories/user requirements and translate functional and non-functional requirements into digital solutions.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, computer science, or other related degree.
Min. 8 years’ professional experience within web, app or technical product management.
Preferably 5 years of working experience in the insurance industry in the areas of Service or Servicing.
Proficient with the latest innovation in digital and able to transition a vision or an idea into reality within current limitations. Must be able to work hands-on.
Understanding of the product management lifecycle and of web/application standard processes.
Able to coordinate, prioritise and lead multiple projects and team members.
Understanding of a variety of methodologies from Agile to Waterfall, and of common software development practices.
