Strategize, steer and advise on legal conveyancing and leasing to KLCC Group of Companies in achieving its objective and to promote and safeguard the Group's interest, financial value, image and reputationResponsibilities
  • Tenancy / Leasing
Strategize legal advisory (review, drafting and vetting) on various agreements in respect of retail tenancies and leases involving Suria KLCC, Alamanda, Mesra Mall, Menara 3, Menara Dayabumi, Menara Exxonmobil, Lot 91, Lot 185, Menara PjH, Galeria PjH, Suasana PjH, Herriot Watt University Malaysia (HWUM), Nadi 15 and Z10, Putrajaya made on behalf of the organization to safeguard company's interest and mitigate risks & legal implications that may have dire ramifications. * ConveyancingStrategize legal advisory (review, drafting and vetting) and attending to the sale and purchase agreements for Rantau Homes and The Binjai on the Park. * Land MattersStrategize legal advisory (review, drafting and vetting) and attending to all land related issues/disputes and processes including title searches, application for State Authority consent, registration of transfer, charges, leases, easements, caveats, subdivision, amalgamation, surrender and re-alienation, strata titles application, land premium, replacement of titles etc. * NegotiationNegotiate by nurturing trust, foster productive working relationship with counter parties and stakeholders to provide solutions , navigate conflicts and achieve mutual agreements. * CustodianCustodian of original land titles and land related documents and agreements. * LitigationFacilitate all legal dispute for litigation matters in respect of retail/office tenancies and leases and liaise with the appointed solicitors for the strategy and plan to protect Company's interest and optimize the success outcome. * CompliancesLead the development, implementation and enforcement of legal framework and systems to ensure consistency of advice and service in the organization as well ensure compliance of relevant policies introduced by Petronas for adoption and use. * General Legal SupportProvision of general legal support and advice on all relevant car park operations and intellectual property.Requirements * Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Years of experience: 7 years working experience in a senior / leadership position in Legal Conveyancing & Leasing.
  • Additional experience:
  • Leading multiple cross functional teams including agile team is an added advantage.
  • Experience in land matters.
