- Providing service ownership and leadership for end-to-end delivery and operations of Network & Cyber Security Operations services, ensuring that IT services are delivered to agreed service levels.
- Managing the day-to-day service delivery of defined IT services provided by both internal and external service providers
- Leading and mentoring the team a high-performing service delivery team, supporting team members with career goals and talent development
- Providing technical support for high-priority incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to business operations
- Providing operational reporting and insights updates to technology leadership, including the management of data and reporting of the service and data flow into ServiceNow
- Supporting Head of Technology Operations in budgeting and cost estimations; manage licensing and service costs
- Managing vendor relationships and contracts for performance and compliance, fostering strong and high-performance partnerships
- Providing continuous improvement initiatives in relation to network infrastructure, including the management of Internet connectivity, VPN, and Domain Services like Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
- Overseeing the deployment and optimisation of network security measures including network access control for LAN, WLAN, (SD) WAN, WiFi, and remote access services
- Overseeing the storage, management, and governance of data across various platforms including databases and data warehouses, ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations
- Ensuring the secure operation of Load Balancing and Network Security protocols, leveraging advanced network management tools
- Managing the monitoring, maintenance, and backup of network data, utilising performance tuning tools and database backup and recovery tools to maintain system integrity and availability
- Managing network architecture and cybersecurity, including asset management, network management and monitoring tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Pulse Secure, Ansible)
- 10+ years of experience in network and security within an IT environment or a similar role, with at least 5 years in a managerial or coaching role
- Proven track record of leading a team to deliver against technical and business requirements
- Relevant professional certifications such as JNCIE-SEC, CISSP, CISM, JNCIE-ENT, CCNP Security, or similar
- Experience in managing high-availability networks and critical security operations, particularly within a data center or similar IT-intensive environments
- International business experience would be an advantage
