Job Category: EngineeringDegree Level: OtherJob Description:Job Summary:This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong troubleshooting capability, and the ability to coach and mentor junior technicians. The Technician 6 works closely with engineers to support process optimization, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform advanced manufacturing operations including equipment setup, calibration, adjustment, and repair.
Troubleshoot complex equipment, process, and product issues; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with engineers on experiments, process changes, and improvement activities.
Analyze production and equipment data to support yield, quality, and efficiency improvements.
Lead or support qualification activities for new tools, processes, or products.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to junior technicians.
Support rework, quality testing, and validation of parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, EHS, and operational procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and problem-solving initiatives.

Qualifications:Required Skills & Competencies

Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proven capability to coach and mentor other technicians.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong awareness of quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
