  • Monitor daily finance operations activities (eg cashflow).
  • Monitor and support monthly account reconciliation and financial closing activities.
  • Implement processes to improve productivity and efficiency of finance operations and reconciliation.
  • Monitor and review department Policies and SOPs.
  • Assist in the department audit requirement and review activities.
  • Participate in the Shared Service Project Management and new reconciliation model for iFRS17.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.

QualificationsThe Person:
  • Possess a recognised Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • More than 5 years working experience in Financial Institution or Audit Company
  • Knowledge in Oracle Systems and Microsoft Excel VBA would be an added advantage
  • Experience in insurance industry an added advantage
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
