Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:The Hybrid Cloud Solution Senior Technical Consultant will be responsible for delivering the solution architected by pursuit solution architect to reality. Working closely with project manager and team members to ensure the final solution meet customer’s expectation whilst maintaining schedule and budget constraint. Support pre-sales activities by providing solution review and overall feasibility.The Hybrid Cloud Solution Senior Technical Consultant delivers advanced consulting, architecture design, and implementation services across on-prem, private cloud, and public cloud environments for enterprise customers in Malaysia and the Southeast Asia market. The role requires strong hybrid cloud expertise, customer-facing consulting skills, and the ability to manage multi-country delivery engagements common within the SEA region.The consultant works closely with customers, regional project managers, and cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable, cost-optimized hybrid cloud solutions aligned to industry best practices and local regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM RMiT, PDPA, MAS TRM).Responsibilities:1) Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Design.
Lead the design of hybrid cloud architectures combining on-prem infrastructure with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including integration with regional data sovereignty requirements.
Develop HLDs, LLDs, migration blueprints, and implementation plans tailored to Malaysia/SEA customer environments.
Provide expert guidance in cloud adoption, modernization strategies, and digital transformation roadmaps.
2) Implementation & Technical Delivery
Deliver full lifecycle implementation of hybrid cloud components:
Experience with multi-region cloud deployments, especially Singapore-based cloud regions.
Strong communication and presentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to lead customer conversations, negotiate trade-offs, and guide decision-making.
Delivery-oriented, self-driven, able to work independently in diverse cultural environments.
Comfortable working in multi-country, multi-time zone project setups.
Certifications (Preferred):
Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, or Google Cloud Architect.
VMware VCP/VCAP.
HPE certifications (ASE / Master ASE).
ITIL or TOGAF beneficial.
