From our top executives, to our line technicians; we are all proud to be part of an elite group responsible for revolutionising the glove-making industry.Job DescriptionJob PurposeMaintain high reliability and efficiency of the plant's control systems and instrumentation through troubleshooting, modification, repairs, and operational improvements, while leading the Control and Instrumentation team to perform effectively and upholding company policies, quality standards, and safety practices.Responsibilities1. Execute breakdown, preventive, and corrective maintenance for GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM, PLC controllers, and other automation systems.2. Perform daily checklists, inspections, tuning, and alignment of automation systems according to required accuracy and frequency.3. Troubleshoot and repair control and instrumentation equipment across production lines, utilities, and compounding areas.4. Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of new automation systems and equipment.5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen programs, to enhance system performance and reliability.6. Manage spare parts usage and maintain cost control within allocated budget.7. Contribute to achieving plant targets for OEE, breakdown time reduction, online rejection rate, and CSI.8. Report on automation systems' performance, repairs, spare parts, supplies, and manpower requirements.9. Expand and apply operational knowledge of plant automation systems, controls, and instrumentation.10. Promote safe work practices and 5S discipline in workshop and factory areas.Qualification and Experience1. Certificate/ Diploma in Electrical, Control Instrumentation, Mechatronic Engineering or Equivalent.2. Minimum 1 year working with Control and instrumentation. However, fresh graduate with good attitude and initiative shall be considered.3. Knowledge on basic wiring and sensor and mechanical part installation4.
