Lab Operations, Senior Manager/Director

• Oversee and manage daily lab operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the life sciences department.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and project delivery.
• Monitor laboratory equipment and ensure proper maintenance and calibration.
• Prepare and review reports on lab performance and compliance with regulations.
• Supervise and train lab staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Mentor laboratory managers, supervisors, technologists, and technical staff.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation

• A degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of laboratory experience, and 4 to 5 years of senior operations people management role.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in managing teams within a laboratory setting.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively across departments.
• Proficiency in using laboratory management systems and tools.

• Annual salary ranging from MYR 240,000 to MYR 300,000.
